The Duathlon and Swim Bike

The Duathlon

The duathlon is a run - bike - run event, mainly because the inner runner in you loves to tackle the TriMuskoka forest trail hill.

The first run is a 2.5km run after which you head into the transition zone and head out onto the 30km rolling out and back bike course run.

To top it off, you head back out onto the run course for a double loop 7.5km run.

Follow the music and the sound of the cheering crowd to the finish line where a glorious and triumphant finish line, and some pretty amazing food, awaits!

The swim-Bike

trimuskokan swim bike
The swim-bike is ... well, as it sounds ... a swim bike event.

The first leg of this division is a 850m straight shot swim down the Muskoka river, where you will get out of the water by way of a set of handcrafted stairs, and then head up towards the transition zone.

Once, you have towelled off and put on your bike gear, you will join the others out on the bike course for an unforgettable 30km rolling out and back bike course run.

Once you are back to the transition zone, put your shoes or flip flops on, and make your way to the finish line,a and cross that line in all your glory!
